Hey friend! I’m so glad you’re here.
My name is Lianaivette, and most people call me Lilly and I’m the heart and hands behind Lianaivette Sewing Studio — a space where modesty meets style and creativity knows no limits.
This studio is for the woman who wants to feel confident in what she wears. The one who values modesty but still loves style. The creative who’s ready to stop overthinking and finally learn how to sew with confidence.
How It Started
I didn’t grow up knowing I would pursue fashion.
During my last two years of high school, I had no clear direction for what I wanted to do after graduation.
Then I stumbled into Fashion Design — and everything changed.
I instantly fell in love with fabrics, sketches, patterns, and the way creativity could come to life through clothing.
I enrolled in a two-year Fashion Design program in college and dove deep into learning garment construction and design.
Although I didn’t finish the degree, the love for sewing and creating never left me.
Life shifted.
I worked as a Visual Merchandiser in retail, using my creativity in a different way through styling and presentation. In 2015, I moved to North Carolina in search of new career opportunities. I thought my future would stay in merchandising — but God had other plans.
Even in seasons when sewing wasn’t my full-time focus, I kept creating whenever I could. In 2024, doors began to open again. Opportunities to offer local alterations. Opportunities to serve women in my community. Opportunities to record my first online sewing class.
What once felt like a paused dream became a revived calling.

Mission
My mission is to serve women and young creatives by helping them confidently develop the talents and creativity God has entrusted to them.
I believe we were each created intentionally — designed with gifts, vision, and the ability to create. Sewing is more than fabric and thread; it is an opportunity to steward what God has placed in our hands. Like the parable of the talents, we are called to multiply what we’ve been given — not hide it.
Through sewing classes for women and children, professional alterations, and creative education, I serve those who desire to:

As the studio continues to grow, I look forward to expanding into original designs and building spaces where both women and children can discover the joy of creating with excellence and purpose.
